CRRT AND SU Scotland
The Cambuslang and Rutherglen Reachout Trust (CRRT) has been operating in partnership with local churches and in association with Scripture Union Scotland for the past 20 years to spread the Gospel.
CRRT seeks to engage and support young people to increase their understanding of the Christian faith, and putting their faith into action. We operate with two youth and schools workers in Cambuslang and Rutherglen where we have four mainstreams of work: schools, churches, communities as well as through training and volunteers.
WHAT I DO
As the Senior Youth and Schools Worker, my role is varied. As well as supporting and enabling our small team, I aim to encourage ministers and volunteers that work alongside us. Each year I am involved in several residential events including two SU weekends and a week on sunny Island of Arran.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Without the support of people praying, working and/or giving financially, the the work of the trust could not happen. You can get involved with the work of the trust by:
- Praying for the work of the trust.
- Volunteering at an SU Group.
WEEKENDS
We run great residential events at Lendrick Muir for school pupils living in the Reachout area and as part of the wider work of SU Scotland in Lanarkshire.
FINALLY
If you are interested in being involved in any of the above ways or would like to have a chat about what we do, please contact me.
