Angus Allan
Angus retired from serving in the role of Depute Principal at South Lanarkshire College in October 2020 after 14 years. He currently runs a smallholding with sheep, forestry, small scale crops and hens; is an elder at Avendale and Drumclog Parish Church and works part-time as an HM Inspector of Education. As a pupil, he valued highly the engagement with Scripture Union during childhood at Mount Pleasant primary school, Thurso then during secondary school at Larkhall Academy. More recently he has been a general helper during SU summer camps at Alltnacriche and a volunteer helper at Gowanbank. He is passionate about the vision of SU Scotland to enable children and young people in Scotland to explore the Bible and respond to the significance of Jesus.
