Andrew Stothard

Every child means every child.

I’m Andrew and it’s my privilege to work with the Digital Team at SU Scotland. I live in central Scotland near Stirling with my wife Ruth and 2 daughters, Hannah and Zoë. I trained to write computer games at university before taking some time out to study the Bible in England. I’ve been working and serving in ministry settings for quite a few years, lately with SU in the IT and Holidays teams. Outside of work, I love to read, game (online or board games!), and chop firewood. Lots of firewood.

SU Scotland's vision is that every child in Scotland has the opportunity to explore the Bible and respond to the significance of Jesus - and we have to go the extra mile to make that happen. I’m excited that with digital ministry, and the truly national reach the internet gives us, we can reach out to children and young people from every school and home in the country. I have a new role in the team, with a remit to create opportunities for online groups as well as coordinating great Biblical content creation and supporting local churches in reaching out using digital methods for ministry.
