Kingscross holidays are always a seaside sensation! It feels special as soon as you step on the ferry to Arran.
Kingscross offers comfortable cabins for sleeping, while indoors there is accommodation for games, meetings and meals. There are plenty of on-site action and the range of off-site adventures that only Arran can offer - gorge walking, abseiling and an off-road safari!
What is the location like?
Being on an island brings its own special sense of adventure and the beautiful island of Arran is an amazing location with fantastic outdoor activities, great beaches, impressive mountains, a historic castle and loads more to see and do. Right by the water and and with a view of the Holy Isle our campsite is the ideal place to stay for a great island holiday.
What's Outside?
Our campsite, near Whiting Bay, is close to the sea and sleeping in our brand new cabins means there’s a truly outdoor feel to the holiday. There are loads of great facilities nearby and on site so there will never be a shortage of things to do here.
What’s inside?
While this is a predominantly outdoor site, there are indoor facilities which include a dining room, meeting room, toilets and showers. So whatever the weather, you will be able to enjoy a lovely meal and some meeting times inside as well as out.
Where is it?
Kingscross is on the island of Arran, just across the water from Ardrossan where your ferry will depart from. It is not far from Whiting Bay on the east side of the island.
Scoughall means holidays by the sea with a beautiful sandy beach right on your doorstep!
Come to Scoughall for a beach holiday that you don't need to go abroad for, with a beautiful beach with private access right on your doorstep. There is a great mix of activities on-site as well as the opportunity to visit Dunbar for some swimming or to give the Foxfall ropes course a go at Foxlake. Make the most of the space, the relaxed atmosphere, enjoy some quality time together and take away great memories that will last forever.
What's the location like?
Scoughall (pronounced "skole") sits at the end of a farm country road right by the beach, with access to some great on-site activities and surrounded by beautiful countryside as well as the ocean. The new cabins built in 2022 bring with them greater comfort and allow more people to come and enjoy the site.
What's Outside?
While situated right next to the beach and all the possibilities that that brings there is also a whole load of space surrounding Scoughall for all of the activities that we have on offer. There are areas for a campfire both up near the accommodation and down on the beach for whatever best suits.
What’s inside?
There are 2 main buildings, as well as the 5 newly built cabins. The main building houses a meeting/dining room, bunk bed dormitories, the kitchen, toilets and showers. Behind this are the cabins which are also bunk bed style accommodation and a games hall with a games room where you can play pool, table tennis and table football.
Where is it?
Scoughall is on the East Coast of Scotland in East Lothian just South of North Berwick. It is right by the coast and perfect for a beach holiday.
