Day of Prayer
Will you join us in praying during our Day of Prayer?
Our January Day of Prayer allows us a day to focus on God, celebrate and praise him for who he is and all he has done, pray into present challenges and seek his face for future guidance.
Our Day of Prayer will be happening on Thursday 18 January 2024, with the theme Simply Pray. Jesus taught the disciples how to pray in Matthew 6:5-18. Our downloadable Prayer Guide will explore this passage and use it as a springboard to pray for SU Scotland ministry.
Wherever you are, whoever you are, however little or much time you have to spare - we'd love you to join us. There are different ways you can engage. Pray personally and pray with others.
If you have a prayer group or a church Bible Study on Thursdays then you might like to mention SU Scotland for prayer. You might like to show our Hello! We are SU Scotland! video as an introduction, or the downloadable Prayer Guide below contains topics for prayer you can then share with others. Finish with Lighting up Scotland - a more reflective video based on Psalm 119:105.
Across the country different groups will be gathering either online or in person to pray for SU Scotland. Check the list below to see if there is one near where you live.
If there isn't a prayer gathering in your area, feel free to join in any of the others!
